Kirkcaldy's
Vibrant & Confident Town Centre
Kirkcaldy
is Fife's leading location for shopping and business and we
recognise that a thriving and confident town centre lies at
the heart of the successful regeneration and development of
any community.
Our
vision is for Kirkcaldy to become a destination of choice
for shopping and business and great place in which to live
and learn. Meeting this challenge will be central to the future
success of the town and in turn will support new jobs and
learning opportunities, development of the town’s leisure
and arts product and the achievement of many other objectives.
Realisation
of new health and educational infrastructure is also key to
delivery of this vision. In encouraging physical and business
development of the town centre, it is important that this
is done in a way which enhances the best in the history and
architecture of the town, whilst simultaneously encouraging
excellence in development and contemporary design.
